RETURNS / REFUNDS

 

Our products refunds/returns policy is specific to the products purchased. Please see below fro exact return refund language.

 

Customer satisfaction is the core of our business. If our customers feel that they are not satisfied with a product they received, or that FrugalBrothers.com misrepresented a product, we will do everything we can to keep you, our customer, satisfied. Customers may return certain item(s) within 14 days of receipt, for exchange on defective products.   Please see Merchants return below for Nobilis Computers.

You must first email FrugalBrothers.com; This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it to receive a return authorization before returning any product.  Products returned to FrugalBrothers.com, must be new, unopened, never assembled, and still in the original package.  Items that are returned with obvious wear, scratches, missing paperwork, or without the original box, will be sent back to the customer and no refund will be issued.   There are no exceptions to any part of this policy.

Refunds are subject to a 15% restocking fee, plus merchant fee if paid by credit card and handling fees are non-refundable.  All refunds will only be credited to the credit card that the card holder initiated the purchase with.

The customer is responsible for shipping arrangements on all returns. Please choose a courier with whom you can insure the package (for the full value of the product) and obtain tracking information.  In the event that a returned package is lost or damaged during shipment, FrugalBrothers.com will not refund the customer.  The customer will need to contact the courier and file an insurance claim with the courier for a refund on the insured package.  Returned items marked "COD" or "Postage Due", will not be accepted, and will be returned to sender without refund.


A package that is refused on delivery is the same as a return.  A refund will be issued for the product(s), minus the 15% restocking fee, and shipping and handling costs; once received by FrugalBrothers.com.
In the case of an undeliverable package, FrugalBrothers.com will contact the customer to re-verify information and either resend the order or offer a full refund.  The shipping and handling fee credit or debit, will be determined on a case by case basis.

In the rare case that a product is on back order we will notify the customer, and issue a full refund, including shipping and handling, should the customer wish not to wait.

GFI Software Refunds

 

Software is not refundable; you may download an evaluation copy for a period for 30 days. During this time you are also eligible for technical support. This allows you to fully test the software, before you buy. It does mean however that when you buy, we consider it a final purchase.

 

Mainpine Fax Modems

The Mainpine 3-year Warranty Statement

Mainpine warrants to the original purchaser of this Mainpine Product that it is to

be in good working order for a period of three (3) years from the date of

purchase from Mainpine or an authorized Mainpine dealer. Should this Product, in Mainpine's opinion, fail to be in good working order at any time during this three year

warranty period, Mainpine will, at its option, repair or replace this Product at

no additional charge except as set forth below. Repair parts and replacement

Products will be furnished on an exchange basis and will be either reconditioned

or new. All replaced parts and products become property of Mainpine. This

Limited Warranty does not include service to repair damage to the Product

resulting from accident, disaster, misuse, abuse, or non-authorized alterations,

modifications, and/or repairs.

 

Products requiring Limited Warranty service during the warranty period should be

delivered to Mainpine with proof of purchase. If the delivery is by mail, you agree

to insure the Product or assume the risk of loss or damage in transit. You also

agree to prepay shipping charges to Mainpine and to use the original shipping

container or equivalent.

30 Day ‘No Quibbles’ Guarantee

 

Mainpine offers a "no quibbles" 30-day money back guarantee. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with a product purchased from Mainpine, then if the product is returned in its original condition, within 30 days, then Mainpine will issue a full refund for the price paid for the item, excluding shipping, handling and duty. This Limited Warranty and ‘No Quibbles’ Guarantee applies to hardware products only.

Fax Servers

 

Frugalbrothers Fax servers are Custom built and a one of a kind item.  Exchange or replace any defective item. The customer is responsible for shipping arrangements on all returns.

Nobilis  Computers
If a product fails during the applicable Equus warranty period, the following procedures must be followed or Equus shall have no further obligations to the BUYER:

Call Equus Technical Support to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. RMA numbers will be issued by telephone, fax or e-mail. RMA numbers will be void if merchandise is not received by Equus within 15 days from the date the RMA number is issued. Any merchandise returned to Equus without an RMA number will be refused. The following information must be provided when requesting an RMA number:

  – Invoice date and Invoice number.
  – Equus item number and product serial number.
  – Detailed reason for return

Equus reserves the right to return any product unrepaired and without notification should the BUYER ship a product to Equus without original parts installed or sold by the manufacturer.

Requirements for RMA processing:

  – Ship defective product(s) to Equus with freight prepaid.
  – A copy of original picking ticket or invoice showing the item and its serial number circled
  – A copy of the Quality Control Checklist for systems.
  – A detailed note describing all problems.
  – RMA Number clearly marked on mailing label, not on shipping box.
  – All returned products must be packed in the original packaging and be complete or the
     warranty may be void.

Non-compliance with the above requirements may void Equus' warranty as it applies to the items returned to Equus OR delay RMA processing and will therefore be subjected to the service charges detailed in paragraph 12 below.

9. RETURN FOR CREDIT – All sales returns must be processed through Equus Technical Support or RMA Departments. An RMA number will be issued for all credit returns. To receive credit, product(s) must be returned within 30 days from the invoice date. A minimum restocking fee of 15% of the total invoice price will be charged for all merchandise returned.

The return of special order items will be handled in accordance with the manufacturers' warranties and return policies.

Returned merchandise for credit OR otherwise in accordance with Equus' RMA policies, will not be accepted unless it is unused and packed in the original container with complete parts, manuals, and accessories, and must be received in reasonable condition after shipping.

Defective items returned to Equus after 30 days from the invoice date, but within Equus' applicable warranty period, will be processed in accordance with Equus' general RMA procedures herein described.

10. DAMAGED ON ARRIVAL (DOA) – For all DOA products, the BUYER is required to call for an RMA number within 7 days of the receipt date.

11. LEAD TIME OF SERVICE – All replacements are subject to stock availability and are generally processed within 72 hours of receipt. All shipments returned to the BUYER will be by UPS Ground. The BUYER is responsible for the difference in freight charges if the shipping instructions require express delivery.

12. SERVICE CHARGES – Non-Equus warranty service will be subject to a minimum of 1 (one) hour at Equus' current hourly labor rate. Equus reserves the right to refuse servicing any non-warranty work or non-Equus products.

  – Product(s) returned without defects – $20.00 per item or $75.00
  – per system plus $15.00 handling fee and freight plus COD charges.
  – Product(s) outside of Equus' Warranty – $15.00 per item plus freight and COD charges.
  – Refused Shipment – $15.00 handling fee plus freight and COD charges.

13. Warranty policy is not extended beyond the BUYER listed on this agreement. If the merchandise purchased from Equus is resold by BUYER to a reseller or end user, this warranty does not apply to such reseller, end user or other subsequent purchaser.

14. Cross-shipment of warranty replacement products is limited to the first 30 days from the invoice date and is subject to prior credit arrangements with Equus.

15. Cancellation of all orders will be subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the total order amount, plus any cost of Equus' labor and any costs incurred by Equus for special order items returned to the manufacturer.

16. The BUYER will be charged $25.00 for each NSF or canceled check.

17. Interest charges of 18% per annum (0.05% per day) or the maximum as permitted by law will be charged for past due account balances.

18. Equus retains a security interest on the merchandise stated above. The rights and obligations of the parties hereto shall be construed and enforced in the state of Minnesota and in accordance with the laws of the state of Minnesota.

19. The BUYER agrees to pay to Equus all costs related to the collection of any sum due, including overhead allocated to employee effort and collection fees, legal fees, court costs, expenses incurred, and reasonable attorney's fees.

20. This document constitutes the entire Agreement between the BUYER and Equus. It is intended as a complete and exclusive statement of the terms used in this agreement and no course of prior dealing between the parties and usage of trade shall be relevant to supplement or explain any item used in this agreement. No agent, employee or representative of Equus has any authority to bind Equus to any affirmation, presentation, or warranty concerning the product(s) sold under this Agreement, unless the same is included within this written Agreement. This Agreement may be modified or rescinded only by a written instrument signed by the parties hereto or by their duly authorized agents. Waiver by Equus of any provision hereof in one instance shall not constitute a waiver as to any other instance.

Credit/Debit Card Charge-Back Policy

The customer understands, acknowledges and agrees that by initial and continued use of the services provided by FrugalBrothers that he or she agrees to, and is bound by the FrugalBrothers Credit/Debit Card Charge-Back Policy.

The customer understands, acknowledges and agrees that FrugalBrothers may revise policies, agreements and notices at any time without notice and that he or she shall be bound by the policies, agreements and notices as currently posted on the FrugalBrothers web site which as a whole shall constitute Acceptable Use And Service Agreement.

 It is the policy of FrugalBrothers to report all forms of Credit/Debit Card fraud to the appropriate legal authorities, regardless of country of origin, and to vigorously prosecute individuals and/or companies that commit Credit/Debit Card fraud by means of charge-backs, use of fraudulent Credit/Debit Cards or other forms of Credit/Debit Card fraud.

FrugalBrothers.com the Credit/Debit Card charge-backs for services ordered and provided to be prima fascia evidence of 'Theft Of Service' as defined under New Hampshire Criminal Code § 637:8.

The customer understands, acknowledges and agrees FrugalBrothers.com will apply and invoice for a charge-back processing fee of $50.00 (USD) to the account balance for each Credit/Debit Card 'charge-back' related to the services provided by FrugalBrothers.com

The customer understands, acknowledges and agrees that unless payment in full, by Certified Check or Money Order, including both the original amount due plus charge-back fee, is received within ten (10) days of invoice a collections processing fee in the amount of $500.00 (USD) will be added to the account balance for each Credit/Debit Card 'charge-back' related to the services provided by FrugalBrothers.com.

The customer understands, acknowledges and agrees that unless payment in full, by Certified Check or Money Order, including both the original amount due plus charge-back and collections fee, is received within ten (10) days of invoice, FrugalBrothers.com will take legal action to collect the debt, including, but not limited to the filing of charges for Theft of Service amounting to more that $500.00 (USD), a felony, Payment under this provision shall not prevent FrugalBrothers.com from seeking to obtain other legal remedies, both civil and criminal, including but not limited to, other expenses, damages, court costs, attorneys fee's and statutory interest.
