FrugalBrothers Business Technology to become FrugalBrothers Software Corporation! After a lot of careful thought, we here at FrugalBrothers have decided to focus entirely on great Network Security and E-mail Protection products. We take the consultant approach to a seemingly complex world of software and hardware. We only sell what we are certified in. We offer completive pricing, and great customer service. We will be offering “best of breed” applications.
I thought I would post a few updates about GFi Software. First, the 90 day software protection period has been eliminated. From now on all technical support calls made to GFi without a Software Maintenance Agreement, will be charged $250.00 per incident. This really increases the value of your maintenance agreement. Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Product Launched GFi, recently added the PCI-DSS suite to its product offerings. The package consists of LANguard Network Security Scanner Version 8, with Events Manager Version 7 with a combined management console, and a report pack designed for PCI-DSS compliance. GFi will be offering free webinars about this exciting new product. LANguard Patch Management + LANguard Vulnerability Scanning Launched GFi now offers not one, not two, but three versions of its flagship product, LANguard Network Security Scanner. Realizing that many customers use the product for particular purposes, GFi has now given its customers more options to purchase the product based on their needs. Pricing is unchanged. FrugalBrothers welcomes Rich Dryden to GFi Rich Dryden recently took over the Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois territory for GFi. He is a long time veteran of software channel sales, and brings a wealth of experience to GFi. Congratulations Rich! Webinars Link: Each and every month GFi hosts free webinars that take a deep look at the various software offerings it has. I decided in this article to post the link to the calendar. http://www.gfiusa.com/calendar.asp? Each demonstration is hosted by a GFi Senior Technician. It is really a great way to supplement your GFi software evaluation, or maybe a refresher on the product/s you already own. Rumor has it: My guess.. GFi will skip a Version 13 in all of its product lines and go right to Version 14.. FAXmaker Version 14 may be nearing roll out. An exciting new feature will be support for Exchange Server 2007. GFi is designing report packs for the entire product line. I personally would love to see a web application version of the report center framework… crossing fingers.. |
